Panama has evicted Trump and chisled his name off the tower

On Monday, police wearing bulletproof vests entered the lobby of the Trump International Hotel in Panama on Monday morning and evicted the Trump Organization’s staff, a move that comes after weeks of simmering tensions over control of the property.

This after the new majority owner Orestes Fintiklis from Greece, won a case in court in the U.S. and Panama to evict the company run by President Donald Trump’s sons. Orestes said fascism will not be supported in Panama. The Trump Organization had refused to leave and over 10 days of confrontations, including shoving matches, a power outage and several appearances by police, they were finally ousted.

The hotel owner stated that since Trumpism across America, where racism has been embraced and emboldened to openly attack anyone non-white, to the point of murder, business at the hotel has slumped.

White House spokesman Hogan Gidley wrote in a brief email response when asked whether the president had been briefed on the dispute or had spoken to anyone in Panama about the fate of his business, “I’d refer you to Trump Org.” The Trump Organization did not immediately respond when asked whether it had been briefing the president on this issue.
